It's that time of year again. Winter is almost over and we've had a few days of warm weather. It's time to get shooting again. And with new beginnings comes the same old question. How do we make it better? How do we challenge ourselves? Is there a message to put out there? I've had a few ideas floating around in my head, stuff I'd like us to shoot. We've made a make-shift lightbox setup in the yard using white sheets over a metal fame. It's the closest thing to a studio we've got and the light inside it is AMAZING!
'Studio' work vs Guerrilla Nudes.
We did a lot of guerrilla type shoots in the beginning. We would look for the perfect place to use as a backdrop for a nude shoot, sneak around and take photos. And we have been EXTREMELY lucky in some of the wonderful locations that we've stumbled upon. But there is always that sense of fear and trepidation. It's difficult to think ahead or to try to seem relaxed when one is naked in the great outdoors.
Our new little 'studio' has allowed us to be more pro-active about the result that we get. With assured privacy and consistent, diffused light it's much easier to get creative. We are now able to play with wigs and crazy make-up, angles and props etc. Something which is just not possible when trying to gain entry to all of the beautiful and dignified establishments that we have used (usually wedding and conference venues). I will always love the rush of going out to take photos but I look forward to working in our cozy little lightbox to see what we can come up with.

The Respect Us CLUB is back and open for business, I am putting a call out to some of the great nude and fetish artists like yourself who had been active in submitting to the club in the past to participate and submit works again.
Hope to hear from you soon
